Upon your first impression, you will know she has a true passion for helping people, a caring heart, and is solution oriented with attention to detail. Driven by living a healthy, athletic life and wanting the same for her husband and blended family of twelve children, she co-created a Woman & Veteran Owned Business with Elovation Hyperbarics & Wellness with a goal to engage the entire family. As a wife and mother, family and the family’s health are priority to Coryn, along with continual involvement in her church. She is proud to share her years of detailed research with purposefully chosen wellness modalities, offered in a location created with guided inspiration and a spiritual based experience. In addition, Coryn is a Certified Hyperbaric Technician with the International Board of Undersea Medicine (IBUM) for administering HBOT sessions.
She attributes her business acumen to her 17-year tenure with The Walt Disney Company. She pursued with perseverance in high school, her dream and goal to become a Disney performer, and with much determination, including having to travel often from Las Vegas to California, her mission was accomplished. While working for Disney, Coryn was in a car accident and her injuries did not allow her to perform at that time, Disney graciously gave her other opportunities within the company. She quickly rose to leadership roles and enjoyed the expansion of knowledge with opportunities working in special events on shows and parades as coordinator, working with several celebrities for events such as the World Cup Parade, allowing her to hone logistics and planning skills, she also worked in purchasing, tech services, as a stage manager working her way up to a leader within Disney. She was fortunate to also receive training from the prestigious Franklin Covey while in leadership roles for Disney. The training with The Walt Disney Company, Where Dreams Come True and first impressions are of paramount importance, was invaluable to Coryn with corporate integrity, and instilling key business habits and structures she continues to use today in her own business. She values and continues to nurture numerous relationships built during her time at Disney.
Coryn received her Cosmetology License from Golden West College in Huntington Beach CA, inspired and drawn to the creativity of hair, while also allowing flexibility to spend time with her children. She became a corporate trainer for the Brazilian Blowout company Hollywood, CA. Her Cosmetology License, with a strong chemistry and medical training would prove to benefit her in her current business, Elovation Hyperbarics & Wellness.
Her decision to leave Disney and move to Utah was based on wanting to be near family and a peaceful lifestyle with nature and athletic experiences for her children. Moving to Utah was also a fateful, romantic decision as this is where she met Doug Carver, her love, her partner in life and business.
